Lama Caroline

Lama Caroline was born in Yorkshire, England in 1965 and was initiated into Tibetan Buddhism in 1986. In 1991, she began to work with Lama Gangchen Rimpoche, accompanying him on trips and pilgrimages all over the world, promoting the teachings of the Ngalso lineage.

Her spiritual Master, Lama Gangchen, has conferred on her the responsibility of sharing and making known his spiritual vision and teachings in a modern way that is suited to the times we live in. She is chief editor of all the texts and practices of this lineage transmitted by Lama Gangchen Rimpoche. In August 2000 in Tibet she was recognised by Lama Gangchen as Lama Dorje Khanyen Lhamo and is one of the two lineage holders of NgalSo teachings.

Lama Caroline has a deep understanding of the Tantric Buddhist practices and is able to make them accessible to the Western mind. She transmits the teachings in a relaxed and open manner, illustrating them using images and examples from our Western culture and daily life.
