“Entorno de Paz” means “Peace Place” or “Peace Sanctuary”. It was founded by Lama Gangchen Rimpoche, Tibetan Healing Lama, for the dissemination of Ngalso Self Healingpractices and the creation of a peace culture. It is run by the Asociación Entorno de Paz, a charitable organization that operates in collaboration with the FLGPM (Lama Gangchen Foundation for World Peace), a United Nations-affiliated NGO, and member of the consultative body ECOSOC." Entorno de Pazoffers a place for meditation, for the development of inner peace, holistic healthcare and protection of the environment.
In December 2005, the centre received replica statues from the Borobudur Mandala and the Five Dhyani Buddhas, which were carved on the island of Java, in Indonesia. The Borobudur Monument is a Buddhist Symbol of Peace and is recognised as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
Our centre is dedicated to the diffusion and study of the Tantric Self-Healing practices of the Ngalso lineage transmitted by Lama Gangchen Rimpoche. These meditation practices are especially adapted to the needs of our culture and modern way of life. Our programme of activities is designed for everyone who is looking for their inner peace space.
Each year, Entorno de Paz receives the blessings of our Spiritual Master, Lama Gangchen Rimpoche and other great masters, when they visit our centre to conduct powerful tantric initiations and rituals for the benefit of all humankind.
The centre regularly organizes meditation courses, introductory courses to Tibetan Buddhism, Medicine and Astrology; we hold conferences on subjects related to health and natural therapies; as well as workshops on reiki, massage, chi kung, yoga and peace education.
In January 2009, Lama Gangchen Rimpoche came to the centre, accompanying some of the venerated relics of the Buddha, where they were displayed for six days. (The Buddha's relicsare considered to showpeople that enlightenment is possible, to remind them that the Buddha was a real person, and also to promote good virtue).
Entorno de Paz also has a publishing house, which aims to compile the teachings imparted during the courses and conferences organised in the centre. It collaborates with Lama Gangchen Peace Publications in the translation and production of texts into Spanish, of Lama Gangchen Rimpoche's Self-Healing Practices.
The Association also promotes long-distance sponsorship of children, old or sick people and monks living in Tibet and Nepal, in collaboration with Lama Gangchen Kiurok Tsochun - Help in Action
The centre has a small shop for members, which stocks Ngalso practice books and CDs, other buddhist books in Spanish, as well as tangkhas, statues, Tibetan incense, ritual objects and Tibetan, Nepalese and Indonesian craft and jewellery items.
